We agree not all cables are alike. iPhones use max 20W and data transfer max at 10gbits. We need to be assured that cables we purchase are USB IF certified or better yet MFi-certified (look it up). Using a clean single certified cable, without problematic adapters, is the only way to go if you need to work with the troublesome "C" to "A" issue. Ok so here is my problem. Randomly, my sync audio just stopped working. The radio audio is fine but when I try to connect my iPhone up to the sync feature so I can play music from my phone or make handsfree calls etc I don't have any audio. The phone is pairing via bluetooth to the sync feature a So i have a 57 plate titanium which did have the wiring loom but didn't work with the sony head unit and AN bt unit combo so put in a fiesta loom (proved to work elsewhere) and i now have the bt unit and head unit working together i.e seeing my phone, phonebook, songs over bt streaming (as managed to update the firmware too) yet i get no bt unit sound whether it be bt streaming or iPod Apple CarPlay will not launch in Escape after plugging in the USB cable if your iPhone is locked and you haven’t allowed access in the settings. Apple Car play/Bluetooth. I just upgraded to the iPhone 14 pro max and ever since everyone complains they can barely hear me on CarPlay as if I’m whispering and on Bluetooth they say it’s louder but sounds like I’m in a wind tunnel and still difficult to hear. At first I thought it was an issue with my phone, I had installed a custom ROM onto it and though that might have The dealer and Ford were able to fix my car and I can activate it in FordPass, PaaK works, and DCFC is working. They ended up needing to replace the TCU, which is the module that handles communication as well as re-flashing the firmware on several charging related modules. EVfFnh.
