I am pretty much convinced the game was built on PS5 hardware and then ported to PS4 as the PS5 sales and covid screwed everything up. God Of War 2018 was far beyond anything I have seen Fromsoft do and Ragnarok looks like it will have more depth to its systems than the first one. The story, world, and graphics are amazing. However, I do agree the combat is repetitious and the enemies can be sponges. God of War games are all like that though. Hack n Slash with some other elements sprinkled in. I don’t think the game sucks per se but I don’t adore it like a lot of people do.
