Yes, Valve does provide multiple Left 4 Dead 2 servers in different regions, and I've never seen the official servers go offline ever since I got the game three years ago on Steam. Yes, but you may have trouble with the bots on Advanced and especially Expert difficulty. If you are on PC, I recommend getting the Left 4 Bots add-on from the Steam Workshop to make them a bit more smarter. It also allows you to pass on throwables to teammates, too! (I don’t know why it isn’t an official feature).
